Come to Vermont With Us This Weekend!

By • Nov 6th, 2009 • Category: 26th Story, Book News and Publishing

Northshire Bookstore, VTBob and I will be speaking on a panel about the changing face of publishing with the esteemed literary agent David Black and publishing veteran Joann Davis (who also happens to be the wonderful author of The Book of the Shepherd (just on sale now)).

The event will take place at Northshire Books on Saturday at 4 pm, so please spread the word and come say hi. In fact, they asked if I would tweet what is going on during the event, but I’m not so great at tweeting and talking at the same time…so if someone wants to take that on, that would be great!

    Deb,
I'd love to, but we may be movin' back to Arkansas in a few weeks. Tell your flyfishin' son, I've got all my rods/reels packed and am ready for the big browns on the White and Norfork Rivers. We have a house in Mountain Home, 15 minutes from the River and 3 mins from Norfork Lake. Y'all come on down!… will hopefully rent the Texas house out! LOL, (Anybody wanna live in Katy, Texas? Old Katy, that is).

    Google… http://www.norfork.com

Our place in the Ozarks, Mark Twain country, actually. But then all of Southern Missouri and Northen Arkansas claims ole' Sam.

    Haste yee back ;-)

Wow. Haste yee….you may just find some New York fly fishers on your doorstep soon. That sounds great.

    Deb,
No problem!… best fishin' times, fall 'till spring. Summer's a bit hot and too many tourists but good time for antique shopping, (if ya like that, and Mrs. Haste yee does), also Lake fishing or water sports, especially scuba. Sorry, no Bloomindales, Saks Fifth or Tiffanys :(

LOL, I fished five fall/winters with a New Yorker. He's been coming to Mtn. Home for 20 plus years, finally bought a small place. Lookin' forward to “stickin' with Phil again.

e mail, Pyxx@aol.com, that's me… if ya want! Fly selection is very simple, wooley buggers, scuds, pheasant tails, sow bugs, soft hackle flies, size 10-16. Wolley's are 8-12, olive and black.

    Haste yee back ;-)
